Why?

Winters are hard on water feature equipment such as pumps, pipes and filters without proper maintenance. Sometimes it's easier to wait it out. Shutting things down in the Winter simplifies things since you won't have to keep checking for leaks due to ice formations, and gives the more expensive parts of your water feature a better chance of survival and longevity.

Some common things we see are pipe bursts, and pumps going bad. Not to mention danger to fish if not cared for correctly.

Wasatch Ponds has seen that in the water feature world there are two types of people; those with fish, and those without. Our shutdown packages are designed accordingly!
